Just A Moment of Passion

I started cleaning out my closet yesterday
after dropping off Miss Bella at school.

These guys helped.
Well, just watched and hid in the mess.

Later creating more of a mess.
I noticed Rowan was throwing these

clothes with such vengeance.

I asked him if he was mad.
He told me he was. I inquired.
He said he was mad,
because he wanted to ride a motorcycle.

So Random.

I hate motorcycles,
and we don't talk about them.

I took a closer look at the shirt
he had found in the closet somewhere.
So that's were the moment
of passion came from.
Today. I am off to continue
cleaning out the closet.

save me. i hate cleaning out closets.

This Is Updated Too

I Just Have to Bite the Bullet

I was going to try and wait until I got my computer back
to catch up on my little blog here,
but since my computer is still
in my back seat of my car
it is looking like it could be some time.

So I guess I will use Biggy B's computer.
I do love the guy so, but what?

This is his desktop picture.
Either there is something he should tell me

or he really likes Lenny's tattoos.
Or his nipple rings.

So we spent the last days of our vacation with
my sister in Colorado Spring.
That is where I turned 31!

Ryan made me a b-day cake from scratch!

We also went to my favorite zoo in the whole world.
It is made out of the side of a mountain.

We went up the Cog Rail Trail.
There was 8 of us squeezed into 6 seats

and Jane hated every minute.

Therefore, we hated every minute.

But here we are at the top right before the hail storm.

I lost the rest of my family.
So it was just me and RowB.

After that I kissed my sister and
nephew goodbye
we headed back to Waco.
I drove the 12am to 4am shift!!
I was very impressed with myself,

but the thought of being mugged
in the car sleeping and the thought of

paying $100 for 5 hours of sleep
kept me truckin' on.
A monster helped too. That drink is so sick.

We got home and then Brett decided
that "His" boy was going to be three in
a couple of months,
and needed to be in a "Big" boy bed.
So as I said in my last blog post
we did a room switch around.
I am still working on the guest room, but seven days
later and one broken (?) toe the kids room is done.

So sad... we had to paint over Bella's mural. :(
My mother-in-law is one talented lady!
here's the toe
I dropped the particle board
for the chalkboard on it.

Now I am working on the laundry

before Bella starts 1st grade tomorrow!

It's Wake Up Time

That is what Rowan says to me every morning,
when he crawls in my bed.

He has graduated to a big boy bed.
So last Friday I went to Ikea (aka the european walmart)
and bought bunk bed for him and Bella.
We thought if the share a room we might have better luck
with Bella going to bed.
We also moved their rooms entirely.
They are both now closer to the stairs,
which is closer to our room.

In other news my laptop has died.
So I hate to leave you with nothing but my words.
So am I going to look
and see what kind of photos Brett has on his computer.

Of course.

Some More Vacation Days in the Mountains

We are in Breckenridge,
and just got back from having dinner
with one of our old roommates and her husband.
We lived in Frisco/Breckenridge
right after we had Bella and we
brought two girls up here with us.
They both married and stayed behind
after we moved back to Waco.
It was so good to see her,
and be here. I do miss it.
But thankful for my life in Waco.
We spent the morning at
Peak 8 Fun Park.

That was a blast.
The only downer is when Rowan and I
witnessed the tragic death of a chipmunk
from the chairlift.
He or she got pummeled
by a super slider.

Before we got here we stopped
off in Estes Park to celebrate
the union of Cassie Jo and Brock.
It was a beautiful wedding
at a beautiful place. Brett's sister, Anna,
flew down to help us out with the kiddos.

We picked her up in Denver
and spent a little time with
Brett's uncle, cousin and family.
The kids had a blast with their cousins.
So glad we got some time with them.

Here are a few pics from the last few days.

Tomorrow we are headed
to Colorado Spring to celebrate my
birthday with my sis!
Really I'm 31.
Wow. I feel like I turned 21
just a couple of years ago,
but my stretch marks
age spots
cellulite
and great wisdom
tell a different story.
Oh well.
Cheers.
