After I make Bella breakfast and get her situated in the morning, I wake Rowan up and change his diaper. Then I put him in his chair in the living room. Without fail Bella will drag his chair over to her table, so they can eat breakfast together.

Such a Small Sneak Peak
I had Rowan's pictures taken yesterday in Salado.
They are his 3 month shots.
He will have them again at 6, 9, and 12 months for a baby panel.

Pick Your Battles, Right?!
Bella is very into her clothes these days.
She is pretty picky too... no jeans, no corduroys, no khakis~
really nothing but cotton pants if we are leaving the house.
Tops need to ALWAYS be pink or at least have a little pink in them.
She doesn't mind wearing dresses, but not with crocks or furry boots~ only pink tennis shoes.
If this were her perfect world, she would be able to wear mis-matched pj's everyday, all day!
Actually, she really only wants to wear the pj shorts that have bubbles on them. They are really flowers, but she calls them bubbles. It is 37 degrees outside and not much warmer inside (seriously, our energy bill has been out of control) ... and she still wants to wear the bubble shorts. Pick your battles, right? Oh, and she also loves to wear clothes that are 2 sizes too small. The other day while she should have been taking a nap she was trying on old clothes that were in boxes in her closet. She came down with some shorts that were 18 months. She said she looked like her gymnastics teacher. They did look a little like biker shorts on her. She was going through Rowan's diaper bag and decided to wear his pants. Picture Attached. Now really these are his full length pants.
Sheesh.

Back To Work
I started back to work this week. I was really sad even though it is only part-time (20 hours). I have loved staying at home full time for the last fifteen weeks! It is funny because when Bella was a baby I really struggled with staying home all the time, and now with two I really seem to relish in it. I started to worry about going back to work even before I had Rowan. As soon as I had him I started counting down the days praying that the Lord with multiply my time, and that my break would seem longer than fifteen weeks. Even though I did not want to go back I felt a stronger inclination that I was suppose to finish my commitment. That is my heart for my children that they would always finish what they start or commit to (or at least try their hardest to). With that said, my first week back went the best it possibly could! Rowan did great at my mother-in-laws and Bella seemed super excited to go back to school (mother's day out). The teachers and kids at my school were great and made me really feel welcomed!Everything went so smooth and I have to say I know it was on account to all the prayers that were going out! Thank you friends. God is good. So now that we are back into the swing of things, we are waking up at 6 to get out the door by 7:20. Usually by the time we get up in the morning both kids are in bed with us. On Tuesday while I was getting dressed and periodically checking on the kiddos in bed... this is what I found.
All snuggled up. So sweet!

Things I Want To Do In 2008
Okay so I have decided to write down 10 things I would like to do in 2008. If I have them documented somewhere then at the end of the year I can look back and see what all I have accomplished. I might change a few of these in the next couple of days. I haven't given too much thought to this idea, but this is what I came up with for now.
1. Enjoy life as much as I can everyday!
2. Spend quality time with Bella and Rowan everyday... whether it is watching Bella jump on her bed for 30 minutes or talking baby talk to Rowan. Just engage with them everyday!
3. Run a half marathon
4. Go on a vacation and/or weekend trip with just Brett
5. Get on a budget and stick to it
6. Stay organized! Well, get organized and then stay organized.
7. Save up money and buy a new digital camera that has a working screen.
8. Pray Everyday
9. Cook 4 times a week
10. Make my 2007 scrapbook and make Rowan's baby book!
- pick up Haley in Washington on the way to Berlin to see Steph! :)
That would be so great!
