Brett's First Day and a Little More...

We went to visit B during his first day

as the new owner of Shipleys.

My sister-in-law met me up their

with her kiddos as well.

He is still doing training a bit

while he is up there.

There is so much to learn.

We are going to add on an office to our house soon.

Where I can help maintain the

books while with the kiddos.
Already our schedules

have changed so much.

New Schedule.

We have dinner at 5:30 or 6:00.
Kids bed 7:30.
Brett's bed 8:00.
Lesley's bed 11:00.
Brett's wake up time 3:00am.
That's right 3 in the am the man wakes up.
Kids wake up 8am.

I will start working there a couple of days a week

to get familiar with the store.
The kiddos will stay at the MIL's while I do that.
Then after some time...

I will probably go in for Brett,

so he will stay home with the kiddos

a couple of days a week.

He is so excited for this life change.
We had some friends pray for us about a year ago

and as they were praying they felt like the

Lord wanted us to know

the best was yet to come.

It has been so neat this year to experience

confirmation of that word.

We feel very blessed and look forward to this new

endeavor and a new little babe in June.
Speaking of the baby... so January 20th is our sonogram.

We have both agreed to not find out the sex,

even though every once in a while I get the feeling

Brett might try to change my mind.

But so far we are just looking at the vital organs.

I am thinking girl.
B is thinking boy.
Once I figure out how to do

those blog polls I will put one up.

I am having the hardest time finding these little guys.
I know Bella buns would love them for Christmas
since she has the bedroom/playroom furniture for the twins.

Breaking 3 Rules No, Make That 4

So I am not a super huge fan of animals in the house.

I don't like cleaning up the hair, pee, poo, throw up,

and drool/snot spots from the furniture.

Well, Biggy B has a bleeding heart and feels so sorry for them when it is cold out.

So, I agree and we let them in under a few conditions.

Well, when I came home tonight all three dogs were breaking the house rules.

1st Broken Rule

- no dogs can sleep on the clean laundry

2nd Broken Rule

- no dogs can sleep on the couch

3rd and 4th Broken Rule

- no dogs can sleep in the bed

Oh, wait lets look at that picture again.

There is the four rule that was broken.

There is a small person in the bed.

No small people in the bed before 3am.

Sheesh. I give up. :)

Back and Feeling Better Than Ever!!

So I spent Thanksgiving and 6 days post Thanksgiving with the stomach flu. It was miserable. I don't think I knew how miserable it was until I started feeling better. My poor sister came to visit from Colorado and had to just lay with me in bed. I went over the the in-laws on Thanksgiving Day and just laid on the couch, and then had to come home early from my families festivities. However, I am feeling great now.

I didn't take many pictures during Thanksgiving, but here are a few.
