Got My Mom's Sewing
Machine Tuned Up!
So I got to trying it out.
After a few tears
and some threading coaching
from my mother-in-law...
I started on my first project.
And idea I got from a friend.
A life sized doll.
I started with Jane.
She must have been a little
wiggly when I was
tracing her out.
That or she is
really disproportionate.
Give me some time.
I'll keep working on it.
It sorta looks like a
rubber chicken
Looks like she found
a friend that loves her
no matter what she
looks like.

I love the doll! Isn't it wonderful sewing? When I sew, it makes me think of my grandmother and all the time she spent making me things and things for my brother and cousins. You feel like you are sewing with tons of generations.
But to make you feel better about the doll, I have some bibs for Finley that started out as gifts for other people but he got them instead because they were not up to par to give as gifts! :-)
P.S.You look fantastic as always and your belly looks smaller than mine and I am due later than you are! Lucky girl!
teach me how to sew :)
i want to make a quilt
