-I try, but want to try even harder this year.

-I try, but want to try even harder this year.
Finding Joy! in all circumstances and controlling any negative thoughts.
2. Spend quality time with Bella and Rowan everyday... whether it is watching Bella jump on her bed for 30 minutes or talking baby talk to Rowan. Just engage with them everyday!
- I think I got better at this, but could always engage more.
3. Run a half marathon
- I did it! :) But don't think I could run to the mailbox now.
4. Go on a vacation and/or weekend trip with just Brett
- We did get to go on a vacation for our 5 year anniversary last summer thanks to my wonderful MIL that watched the kiddos.

I sometimes close my eyes and pretend I am back there on the beach.
5. Get on a budget and stick to it
- Oh goodness, maybe four months out of the year we were good about our budget.
6. Stay organized! Well, get organized and then stay organized.
- Hmm... some things are organized and some things are chaos.

So I wouldn't say that I quite reached this goal in its entirety.
7. Save up money and buy a new digital camera that has a working screen.
- Got it!
8. Pray Everyday
- Oh man. I wish I could say yes to this one,

8. Pray Everyday
- Oh man. I wish I could say yes to this one,
but if I was being completely honest I would
have to say a lot of days, but no everyday.
9. Cook 4 times a week
- Haha. I had seasons where I was great at this.
9. Cook 4 times a week
- Haha. I had seasons where I was great at this.
However, I would have to say the first 15 weeks of this pregnancy
I cooked 4 times total. Good thing Biggy B likes to cook.
10. Make my 2007 scrapbook and make Rowan's baby book!
- It is ready to go on shutterfly. I just need to buy it.
So one my think man that is depressing she only accomplished 4 of her goals.

However, not this girl... no, not me...
I have to remember that at least I got better at all these things
so, that is good enough for me. I do want to continue to work on them though.
Here Are my Ten 2009 New Year's Resolutions in Random Order.
Here Are my Ten 2009 New Year's Resolutions in Random Order.
-
1. Catch up on my family scrapbook.
I am a year behind.
2. Not be a lazy mom.
2. Not be a lazy mom.
Meaning not be lazy in discipline or even the smaller
things like reading to Bella every night. She loves it.
3. Learn how to mountain bike.
This will have to come after June, but B really wants me to learn how.
He has been making some trails over by our house.
4. Travel outside of Texas at least two times.
5. Enjoy Bella as much as possible these next 8 months,
5. Enjoy Bella as much as possible these next 8 months,
because she will be in school next year!! :( All day. boo.
6. Be a supportive wife.
Sometimes I just forget to encourage, and that is what I was created to do!
7. Work out at least 4 to 5 times a week.
Eating donuts everyday it not doing my waistline any favors.
8. Read at least five books.
9. Work on my tone.
Not my muscle tone. My tone of voice.
I can get a bratty tone with the fam and I know they do not love it.
10. One random act of kindness every month.
This can be a little hard, because the person on the
receiving end can think you are a little nuts.
So this will also work on my fear of man.

I agree, it was hard for me to cook in the beginning of this pregnancy. I think I cooked twice the first 18 weeks. Now that I'm back from our trip to Texas, I am doing much better at this. Happy New Year!
